We combine a number of established training methodologies to allow flexibility in the successful delivery of learning and development (L&D) opportunities. This supports our people to realise their own potential and move along the Eason career path.

On-the-Job / Experiential Learning

Structured learning in the live environment. This is a core methodology used in the training of our people by our own in-house experts who themselves have been trained to provide effective, engaging and practical learning on all aspects of our business operations,.



Class-room / Group based Training

This traditional and core methodology features prominently in the delivery of all stages of our internal development programme, My Horizons. Our class-room based training events give the learner the opportunity to take a break from the busy store environment to engage in relaxing, interactive programmes whilst also providing a forum for the sharing of concepts, approaches and ideas from within the learnerís own peer group.



Online / E-Learning at Easons

Eason has invested in e-learning as we recognise this methodology to be effective in knowledge transfer, visually engaging and caters to many of our people because of its "always-on" 24-7 access. E-learning features in the initial Induction of new-hires and is used extensively in delivery of Level 5 / NVQ-2 awards with Retail Ireland Skillnet. Accessible from any device, our dedicated internal learning management system provides a profile for each member of staff to track progress and successes!

To achieve new learning or a new skill or to ultimately achieve a personal development goal is something that is recognised and celebrated at Eason.
